True confessions: Chips are not a traditional usage in West Africa for fonio, or for anything else! But in trying to bring fonio to a wide audience, we knew we had to use it in a way that would connect with LOTS of people, and that would be noticeable in a grocery store. Snacks seemed like a good vehicle to capture our flavors, and a good way to use this most impactful little grain. Our Sea Salt Fonio Chips are as simple as it gets. With no intense seasonings, you really taste the subtle toastiness of our mild-mannered signature ingredient.
